The Calgary Wheelchair Curling Association (CWCA)
is a non-profit organization, started in 2005 by a few people in wheelchairs
wanting to get back to a game they played prior to using a wheelchair. From
that vision and determination, the CWCA was born and has continued to grow in
membership and awareness to the disabled community and among able-bodied curlers
in Calgary and surrounding areas.
The CWCA meets on most Saturday afternoons from 3:15-5:30pm at the Garrison Curling Club 2288 – 47 Avenue SW in
Calgary. Each week members participate in games, skill development and
social fun.
